What's New Key Documents

The new draft version of the Electronic Transfer of Notices (ETON 5) schemas was published on 2 July 2008. The consultation period for this draft schema will end on 12 August 2008. The new EToN 5 schemas support the new technical specification (http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roads/network/local/streetworks/cop/etonv5.pdf) and will supersede the EToN 4 schemas. The main change in EToN 5 is the introduction of transactions to support Permit Schemes. Other changes include support for Unattributable Works, Section 50 Licences and Notice Attachments. Two new schemas have been published that relate to the Automated Registration of Title to Land (ARTL) system used in Scotland. The first Schema is to be used for the communication of information between solicitors/lenders Case Management systems and the Registers of Scotland’s ARTL system. This will enable the pre-population of Draft Application details within ARTL and reduce the need for re-keying of transaction information. The consultation period for both of these draft schemas ended on 10 March 2008 and this schema is now agreed.

Two new schemas have been published that relate to the Automated Registration of Title to Land (ARTL) system used in Scotland. The second Schema covers the information that is provided to Institutional Lenders registered to use the Registers of Scotland’s ARTL system who have opted to receive the daily data feed. The daily data feed contains information relating to new Standard Securities registered in favour of the lender and Discharges of Standard Securities by the lender that have been registered through ARTL is to be used for the communication of information between solicitors/lenders Case. The consultation period for both of these draft schema ended on 10 March 2008 and this schema is agreed.

The new draft version of the Electronic Transfer of Notices (ETON 4) schemas was published on 9 January 2008. The consultation period for this draft schema ended on 18 February 2008 and this schema has been agreed.

A new draft Fire and Rescue Service schema for the DCLG Incident Recording System published for consultation on 10/12/2007. The consultation period for this draft schema closed on 28 January 2008 and this schema has now been agreed.
