Companies House Reference Number

Description A unique reference number allocated by the Registrar of Companies to a limited liability company or unlimited company at the time of first registration of that company.
Business Format English/Welsh limited/unlimited companies have an 8-digit number. Other corporate body types have a 2-character prefix followed by 6 digits. These are detailed in the table below.
