Some web browsers offer an alternative way to the mouse in following navigation links by using keyboard access keys. To use an access key, hold down the ALT key and press the appropriate letter. Then press RETURN to go to the desired page.
The following access keys, which follow the UK Government access keys standard, are available throughout the UK GovTalk website:
- 1 for Home Page
- 3 for Sitemap
- 5 for FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
- 0 for Access Key Details (this page)
- B for About GovTalk
- P for Policy Documents
- F for Discussion Forum
- G for Login to UK GovTalk
- T for Schemas and Standards
- L for Links to other websites
- O for Contact UK GovTalk
- S for Skip Navigation
- W for Working Area (Must be logged in first)
Access Keys are not case sensitive, so both ALT-O and ALT-o are equally valid keys for "Contact UK GovTalk".
